What was the inspiration behind the song? Clarissa: The common but great answers are God and Jesus! But to me there is one more important - how everyone would one day leave us but God would never forsake us. Veena: Just like Clarissa said, my main inspiration behind the lyrics was God and Jesus. I also drew on some of my own personal experiences with God for inspiration. I decided that the lyrics would represent how God can transform our lives for the better. I also wanted the lyrics to be encouraging and simple so that teenagers could relate to them. Eleanore: My inspiration for this song was to encourage Christians in their walk with God, and that God would help them. 2. What are you trying to express/communicate through the song? Clarissa: I felt that we needed to evangelise to back-sliding Christians and non-Christians. And the best way is through music (song). Veena: To convey the message of Christianity to non-Christians and those who have lost faith in God due to past experiences. Most importantly though, I want to let people know that God loves each and every one of us unconditionally, no matter what! Eleanore: To encourage others, to comfort them that the Lord is always with them. |
